Product manager
MAIN MISSIONS:
Within the Marketing Department or 3D Interconnection Systems Business Unit and reporting to the Marketing Director and/or 3D Interconnection Systems Business Unit Manager, you are responsible for the management of your product line, ensuring its commercial success. Your main tasks will be:
The Product mix (4 P Product, Price, Promotion, Place)
- Product: Technical definition of needs (feedback from clients/agents)
- Writing technical specifications
- Obtaining/Maintaining US regulation compliance for new & existing products
- Applying the new product development procedure (3DP…)
- Participating in continuous product improvement
- Conducting market research: market status, customer needs, competition, technology watch
- Detecting, reporting, and analyzing customer expectations
- Acting as the interface between project managers, the sales force, and the Design Center
- Positioning products compared to competitors – multi-criteria competitiveness analysis
Promotion / communication
- Establishing and promoting the 3D PLUS Detection Systems brand in the field of nuclear instrumentation
- Providing commercial product demonstrations to new or existing customers
- Advertising/communication actions: trade shows/conferences, flyers, website, social networks
- Preparing and ensuring the technical sales support documentation for the product line (clients, sales network, etc.)
- Representing the company at specific events (congresses, trade shows…)
Customer support (pre-sales and post-sales) to 3D PLUS salespeople, the sales network (agents), and clients. Responsible for product design-in at clients.
Distribution
- Participating in setting up the sales force (agents) in collaboration with the sales management
- Training and supporting the sales network on your product line
- Developing training materials (training, sales meetings)
- Being responsible for the commercial success and market share development of your product lines
Following RFQs and implementing action plans to increase their number.
- Participating in the drafting of technical responses to tenders (quotes)
- Participating to the definition of the international sales projections
- Leading and ensuring the execution of action plans defined in cooperation with the sales teams (distributors, salespeople, agents)
Desired Profile:
You hold a degree from an engineering school in electronics or in the field of nuclear physics.
You have solid experience in the nuclear instrumentation market, ideally gained with a gamma camera manufacturer, where you have held technical, product marketing, or commercial roles, allowing you to develop an in-depth knowledge of products and their key features, as well as the market and clients both in France and internationally.
You are ideally located in the USA.
Your technical skills:
- Knowledge of nuclear applications and the various players in the field.
- Recognized expertise in nuclear instrumentation, especially gamma cameras.
- Experience in technical, product marketing, or commercial roles within the nuclear instrumentation field is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of the various elements of the marketing mix: price, product, promotion, distribution.
- Proficiency in key IT tools (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
You are known for your interpersonal skills, your persuasiveness, your organizational abilities, and your sense of time management.
